What an amazing couple! They were so much fun to work with and a perfect match for each other. Both had arranged surprises and gifts for the other and there were plenty of emotional moments.
The day started at 10am when I arrived to photograph the mornings preparations in one of the very nice suites available! There were a lot of fine details to capture so I had a busy few hours ahead.
At this point Dave was also getting ready at the other end of the hotel, meaning I could capture both sides of the morning which is always an added bonus. There was also an emotional reunion with Allison's mother who she thought might not be able to make the day but thankfully she could and turned up much to her surprise!
They were married in the Ryder Room which has a wonderful view out onto the acres of the golf course and made a great backdrop to the ceremony itself.
After the ceremony they headed back to the ground floor and with the weather being so nice could use all of the grounds for their guests to mingle outside. This provided lots of natural shots of their guests.
We then used the area around the lake for some stunning portraits of the bride and groom and family.
Carrying on into the evening I was able to set up for some different takes on their first dance and the bride's daughter even sang a solo.
All in all a very classy day to photograph!
